Actually it was yesterday but . . .
I was at Emporium picking up a book at Asia Books when I passed a young girl who had on a dress shirt that had printing on it. It said:
I may not be cute but I can recommend tasty dishes
Not 100% sure on whether it was tasty or delicious or excellent or whatever but the rest I remember pretty well because . . . WTF?!!?
I didn't catch whether she had a nametag on so it's entirely possible she purchased that shirt but more than likely that's her uniform.
I posted this on the message boards but I know many people have their preference (message boards vs. journals) and don't visit the message boards much. So I'm reporting it here and if you would like to comment, please do so in the message boards just so we can keep the conversation going in one place instead of two.

I saw a gal reading this book the other night and asked if I could snap some pics of it because I could not believe what I was seeing.
There was white-out over part of the title so I flipped to the spine.

Funny too because I've been to that bar in Santa Monica before. It's kind of a dive bar.
