Saturday afternoon, TF members joined Aom_lovely to celebrate her birthday at Lumpini Park. It was a great day for a picnic!! We all brought a little something to eat and drink and share . . . and as always . . . a great time was had by all!! The cameras were busy again and we were able to get some excellent photos. Let me start this off by saying . . . OUCH!!! I've spent the better part of the last 2 afternoons in the dentists chair. Tuesday, he removed my last two remaining real teeth from the top of my mouth. They were both very loose and I've been having problems when trying to eat anything for quite sometime.

Last night TFers gathered at Absolute7 to celebrate the birthdays of Pollene, Deester, chrisgent and Frankenburner2. I live in a small secured village of "Townhouses" in an area called Klomperun in Samut Prakan. I would say there are about 300 homes on 7 intersecting streets . . . Not a very big group of homes, but very nice. Most of the neighbors on each Soi know one another, and it's a very friendly atmosphere all of the time. This is why I am so disturbed about this. Thank you all so much for your get well wishes to me. I truely appreciate your concern. Yesterday, my tooth abcessed and the whole left side of my face and neck swelled. Ouch, that hurt!! I'm taking medication now and should be fine in a few days. The biggest problem with this is I can't eat anything solid without excruciating pain. This year Phong and I decided to spend Christmas at MoJo's. The owner, Bob, had invited us and some other TF members to a Christmas Dinner which featured turkey, ham and roast beef!! MoJo's is a nice club located directly across the street from The Office, which is also owned by Bob and his wife. The house band is led by Amy2518 who is also a TF member!! This past week Phong and I travelled down south to Phang Nga and Pathong Beach along with ghee to attend jibjib's wedding and have a holiday too!! There wasn't enough time to do everything we wanted to, but as you will see, we had a tremendous time!! I esspecially want to thank Ron (i_love_som_tom) and his staff at Safe-T-Stop Bar at Pathong Beach for showing us such a great time!!

One of the most beautiful holidays in Thailand is Loy Krathong which is held on the full moon in October/November. This is the time of the year when people go to the local river or canals to ask Mother of Water for forgiveness in polluting the water over the past year. It just so happens that the Full Moon comes on the eve of Phong's birthday!! Bueng Wapee Restaurant appears to be the perfect place to celebrate these events.
