We were raised on bacon grease (lard) as kids and even into adulthood.
I will never use it again. I hope you will throw yours away whenever you fry bacon from now on. (It seems as though nothing is safe to eat anymore.)

As many of you already know, Phong and I have been away for a few weeks on holiday. We went to visit our good friend Anna and her daughter Jigsaw. Although it rained much of the time, we did manage to venture outdoors between the raindrops. One of our daytrips took us to Dream World (Thailands version of Disney World) and we had a fantastic day!! Here are some photos of this wonderful Amusement Park . . .

From beaches to mountain tops . . . this turned out to be one hell of a holiday!! Our friend Anna had just purchased some property down south(in the provinces). She asked us to join her to visit her family and see her new land. This would be her first time to see the land as her father made the purchase for her. We left early thursday morning in Anna's brand new . . .2008 Honda C-RV . . . A very comfortable way to travel around Thailand . . . although Anna's driving skills are fairly new too
Saturday, July12, 2008, TF members gathered both day and night to honor 2 very popular individuals who passed away at this time last year. In the morning, members paid merit at Wat Pathum Wararam . . . and later in the evening a celebration at Gullivers Soi5. Randy and Mike both made great impressions on everyone they met. As you will see from the photos there was an impressive turnout by TF members to honor these 2 men.

Yes . . . I know it's April 30 . . . but tomorrow is May 1st . . . May Day!! May breakfasts and the such. Yesterday was time for my 90 day check-in with Immigration. Since I use the Immigration Office in Samut Prakan, we figured it would be a good idea to make a day trip out of it. So we packed up the family and some neighbors and we were off. The Ferry to Phra Pradaeng is a very short distance from The Immigration Office, so after a very short ride we were on the water. Some of you have been asking how I'm doing with my new teeth. As you can see from the photo above, the smile looks great and I'm very happy with that!! The Thursday before Songkran weekend I paid(hopefully the last time for a while) a visit to the Dentist to get some stitches removed from the tooth extraction and a little touch up maintenance on my new dentures. I'm still experiencing a little pain (very mild . . . but consistant) from one of the inserts. I hope that goes away soon. As most
