Yesterday's event was awesome. It was great exercise, and way too much fun to shoot English Bob between the eyes. If you've never done paintballing, it's such a thrill. It hurts enough so that you do not want to get shot, but it's not overwhelmingly painful. When you're behind your barricade and you're pinned down, it's actually a bit scary. You can hear each shot either zoom by your head, or you hear the BAP BAP BAP of them breaking on your barricade. So it's pretty crucial to keep moving so t

The Pharcyde was one of the earlier hip hop groups that I loved growing up. When they came out with the video for this song, "Drop," it was a pretty amazing thing. Basically, they filmed the entire video backwards. They walked backwards and even lip synced their own lyrics backwards to shoot the video.
Still pretty cool today, and it's a nice trip down memory lane for hip hop lovers.

The past week has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. It's quite strange that I feel "writer's block" at the moment since I have so much to write about, but I am just physically and emotionally fried. Jasmine was in the hospital all week with bronchitis, and thankfully at home today.
Doctors and nurses were coming in and out of our room every 2-3 hours, so it was hard to sleep comfortably. On top of all our worries, both Jeab and I got bronchitis as well. However, I have to take my hat
Sorry I've been MIA recently. Jasmine has come down with a viral infection in her lungs, and we've been at the hospital with her for the past few days. It's been really difficult for all of us.
It looks like we got her to the hospital early enough. Her condition hasn't improved much, but it hasn't gotten worse. She gets her lungs and airways vacuumed out every 4 hours, and has to stay in an oxygen box while hooked up to an IV. I can't explain how difficult it is to watch.

Bill and I went to Ciaran's bday party yesterday and had a good time. A good friend to some of us, and a friendly face to all of us has passed away. Jon Molstad lived in Thailand for many years running some successful businesses, socializing with everyone, and making hundreds of friends in the process.
He was in Pnom Penh, Cambodia earlier this month. He went to sleep and never woke up. He was a wonderful, intelligent, hard-working, young American guy, and it is shocking that he has left us so soon. May he rest in peace.

I'm really tired but I wanted to get some memories out before they lose their clarity. On Wednesday night, June 23rd, Jeab couldn't sleep because of stomach pains. She toughed it out until about 1 pm the next day when she called our doctor. She was having contractions every 20 minutes or so.
