An Irish daughter had not been to the house for over 5 years when she was a teenager.
Upon her return, her father cussed her :
- Where have you been all this time, you ingrate ! Why didn't you write us, not even a line to let us know how you were doing ? Why didn't you call ? You little tramp ! Don't you know what you put your Mum through ??!!
The girl, crying, replied :
- Sniff, sniff .. Dad ... I became a prostitute ...
- WHAT !!? Out of here, you shameless harlot ! Sinner ! You're a disg

This evening I went to doctor because I'm going to leave soon for Thailand. I was the first in the waiting room and my eye immediateley felt on this poster. I find it a funny one, lol. Had to share it with you. My doctor is really crazy. He's more like a friend and he said he liked to go with me to BKK. But I said: 'no way', it's my territory ...... hahahahaha.......
Today I was feeling good, what doesn't happen every monday. And at my work everything went smoothly, my female colleagues (I have no male colleagues) didn't gossiping too much about each other.
After work I went to the supermarket to buy some food. When I was there my mobile rang. It was my sister who told that one of our brothers has been taken to the hospital. He was a little paralised on one side and they didn't know what it was. They took a X-ray first and they saw some swelling in his hea
I knew Porpor a little bit from the forums and in the chatroom. She is studying in Lille (North-France) and she would go to her sis in Bremen (Germany). For that reason she had a connection in Brussels. The Eurostar from Lille arrived in Brussels abt 21.30 h and her connection would leava at 23.40 h. Because I had to go to Kortenberg for my job (a place near Brussels), I said to her I would come there and give her some company.
She was a little uncertain abt travelling alone through Europe and

You can get a fine of $ 50. Now they have to wait till the saenate's decision.

Last sunday, 9 january, we did our action for the tsunami victims, a Thai Buffet. It was a great succes,we got almost 600 people.
It was great, even people not able to come or to stay, give money, just like that. Feeling warm about all these people who are concerned about what was going on in Asia. I even met some TF-ers there.
There are still some actions going on here.
We had to work hard because there were more than 600 people, all for the Thai buffet. We even have to refuse people becau
Maybe, maybe not u read here in the forums and the events that we were organizing with some friends, very local, a Thai buffet and all the money would go to the regions who suffered from the tsunami.
It's amazing how many people are reacting in a positive way. Some people ring at you door to apologize they can't come, but give the money like that? Also some colleagues did.
The personnel of two restaurants in my hometown offered spontaneously to come and help for nothing. And so did a lot of p
We will organize a dinner to get some financial support to help the people in Phuket. I already said something in the forums. Unfortunately they are temporally out. Some Thai women will do the cooking and a lot of other Thai and Belgian people will help, all volunteers.
We already fixed a date and a place:
9 january 2005 in de zaal PAVO (achter de Sint-Lambertuskerk) Vandenbemptlaan 2A 3001 Heverlee (Leuven).
Keep this date free and tell it further to friends and family.

Yesterday and today they gave a big item on TV here in Belgium about the tsunami brought to SE-Asia. I already said that I felt sad for all people who lost beloved ones and those who lost everything. But they showed also that the Thai people were courageous. A lot of people starting already to rebuild their shop or guesthouse. They took some interviews. And Thais told the reporter that that was the only way to forget and that their only incomes were the tourists. That's our only way to survive.
