I had just that moment finished reading his journal that got him banned, when pffft he was gone. Whether it was justified or not in his own eyes, it was a bit too much to be put public, that I have to admit.

The reason behind what made him say such things however should be looked at by someone impartial to see if the action was justified or conferred by more than one mod before such an action takes place to ensure unbiasness, if that isnt the case now.

So this begs a few questions. Who mods the mods and what recourse do members have when they have an issue with a mod. Is the performance of mods reviewed periodically for their actions such as the banning of a member for other than the usual things like false profiles, soliciting or harrassment of other members etc. If not it should be as mods are here purely to adhere to the rules set by, I presume, Tom, however they can be interpreted anyway a mod wishes to justfify her or his own agenda and to cover up their own biasnesses or own breaking of the TF rules that we all have to adhere to.

Mods should not live by another set of rules that members have to adhere to, be hypocrites in their attitudes or have a "do as I say dont do as I do" attitude, hence the reason I ask, who ensures this doesnt happen?

i think the person who banned slurms - aka robert langdon in cape town - work for a powerful clandestine society within tf and wanted make him be quiet because he discovered a secret about the "da vicious mod" ;ppppppp

mmmmmmmmmmmmm I think its better to have hidden mods, and no one knows who the **** they are, that saves any personal attacks and stress! No Alpha male or sexist bravado ****!

well Mike....didn't really want to start this kind of debate (nudge nudge) but I agree with you on one point....that being "what should happen when a mod is involved personally in a dispute"...other than that, I have no particular complaints.

beejoir.....I doubt hidden mods would solve anything...in fact...may even open a whole new bag of problems, suspicions etc etc....not only that..but would allow such "Alpha male or sexist bravado ****!" do go on..anonymously! I much prefer knowing who is who.

Gee, I guessed I missed all the excitement too... The only comment I have is when you "disappear" people without any notice or explanation, it can only start negative rumours.
