Just my another charity work on x-mas eve. One of the teacher in my school told me he will be going to do some charity with his friends and asked for used clothes. Luckily I had some to share from myself and from some Tfers (Gracy,Aomlovely,GbW and from Gracy's friends) I decided to join them doing this charity at this Nursing home for homeless people who are mostly not 100% sane (not that we all do but hmm not sure how to explain) Ok...crazy, nuts, ting tong kinda people. But of course i don't call them that. They are just people like we all are. Just that they are in such a super bad luck to have no homes, no relatives (or at least their relatives don't count them in) Some of my friends often ask me, "why do u like it so much to go to places like this and look at such a pity things and pity people, I dont like doing to places like this coz it makes me sad" Hmm i didnt explain much, but slightly told them " If we all think this way and choose not to visit and help out then who would? Then wouldnt they will be more pity? It's a pity to see them but it would be much more pity and shame on us to not help what we can!" I learnt something new and many good thoughts came on my mind everytime i visit place like this. You can see from the pics that eventhough they are not full of senses, they love and share! Some of them would grab each other hands and walk together! Remind others to take medicine. Help each other put on make up (a listick can be used all over body) They were many types of them, 90% sane, 80% sane and less. Their IQ are mostly not higher than 5 years old kids. And the 90% ones will help others out! I love that in them! Hard to find it on normal people sometimes!I donated used colthes and money for food. Thanks to Bob047 and Simple for the 6929 baht. I spent 500 baht to put together with my 500 on the Blind people band showing at my school. Spent 1500 baht on food for at Nursing home for homeless people. The place prefer if we cook and bring food over instead of donate big amount of money. These poor people get to eat 2 times/ days coz that's all the organization can afford! The government give 20 baht/person/day.So 10 baht each/person/meal. That's really shitty pay pardon my language! There are 296 ppl but they eat like 900 people! Anyway I have spent 2000 baht in total on this 2 projects and still have 4929 baht with me! Here are pics to share. Happy holidays once again!
