So I got this girl's number at a bar about 5 weeks ago.  At the time she seemed really forthcoming and we started sending sms's.  Then she invited me to meet up with her at the same bar.  I made the mistake of going alone and ended up standing around for about 2 hours.  Not something I normally do unless I'm home alone and can take my pants off   Within the first 10 minutes I arrived I sent an sms to let her know I was there and she said she was on her way.  Well she never showed so I smsed yet again and said I'm going home.  The next day I called and didn't get an answer so I left a final sms asking what happened.  Then nothing for 3 weeks.  All of the sudden I start getting sms's again.  The first of which said she was sorry and she actually was at the bar that night but forgot her phone.  Now obviously I can understand this since it's difficult finding the only tall white dude in an uncrowded bar.  Kinda like a "where's Waldo" when Waldo is 800 pounds and fluorescent yellow.  BTW, I was standing very near the entrance.  The following day she left for Chiang Mai with her family for the holiday and was unable to contact me. I didn't realize they lacked telephones in Chiang Mai?!?  Ok then...so I ask her to go to coffee and every time I get no response...she just kinda avoids the question but at the same time she's happy exchanging sms's.   I tell her I'll wait for her to ask me out then but after 5 days of nothing I broke down and asked one more time.  God I'm desperate   She replied saying I was pretty excited and she was just returning from Cha-am...whatever that means...and we haven't exchanged sms's since. So what the hell is up with this chick?  If she's not interested then she should stop f*%king with me.  Is there some excitement in screwing over a stranger?  Anyway there are lots of fish in the sea.

she's got someone else she's interested in, but he may not be that interested in her and she knows it. so she's stringing you along as a potential fall back while she waits for the other guy she's more interested in than you to dump her.
