I've seen this before, and it is very graphic! Makes me think every time I get on my bike.

too many people are afraid to face reality and want to look at the world through rose colored spectacles.

i say they are GREAT pictures, and might make some motorcyle drivers slow down a little and protect themselves and their loved ones.

(i say that having been an ambulance driver that has seen way worse than this, 1000 times more often)

Just wanted to remind the motorbike drivers to slow down, sometimes not only them that got an accident but an innocents also. Are thier fault ?

they are quite good actually, and somehow, someone, has removed all the blood that should normally accompany a body cut in 1/2.

I put about 10,000 Km a year on a sport bike (an orange one too!) and if you ride then you know the dangers, and you shouldn't be afraid to see this because it's always a possibility. I disagree with some posters above, it's not usually the biker's speed that kills him, it's the driver who doesn't account for the rider in his blind spot or turns left right in front of him. You always have to be on the lookout for unaware drivers. That said, some day when I have a wife and children to worry about me I will sell the motorcycles.

Something else, that's a 2-stroke engine super motard (KTM I think) with no turn signals and no plate seen on that detached rear fender, so it would not be street legal. What the hell was this guy doing on the street I wonder???

Nothing wrong with the pics. They are truly gruesome & quite a few people would be upset by them.In Aussie they do the same even have commercials on the TV showing you the results of horrible accidents. Given their not quite as graphic as the ones in your post,but they are brutal. This a tactic used into drive the point home as to the consequences of such collisions. Shock Therapy! It does have a marked result.Anybody who is guilty of Drink Driving on drugs etc; pay a fine or lose their License for a certain period, may be jailed as well, depending on the levels of Alcohol or drug level.Every person found guilty also have to attend a few Seminars which includes graphic footage of accidents & the results there of. Whoever maybe in the wrong is guilty. The other party or parties have to accept a portion of blame.You might not think that is fair.Whether you ride a bike or drive a vehicle, you have to be Licensed.in order to obtain that License you are expected to be able to control Bike or cars or trucks whatever the case might be.Proficiency is what your are supposed to attain. That means you have to be able to be in total control & be able to take evasive action, that is called 'Defensive driving"' The trouble is that Driving Instructors don't teach it & they are not fully qualified to do so. Plenty of young Petrol heads around, no doubt some are cautious drivers. Old people are also a hindrance. People get frustrated, Impatient or just have stuff you I am alright jack attitude with no regard for the ones that are doing the right thing.They have to be aware they have a lethal weapon in their charge which they alone have the responsibility. Above all else they should realize that a license is a privilege & not a God given right or to be just handed out with a box of Kellogs Cornflakes.( Breakfast cereal.)
