U mean jealous or envious? There is a difference. Being envious does not mean u cannot be friends. When I was a kid I had a very best friend. He was a super sportsman and I was total crap! Was I envious? yes I was but it made no difference to our friendship. Decades later we remain the best of friends. He is envious of me, though not for my sporting abilities. It makes no difference. Our friendship is secure. The same can be true for u too. Relax about it. If u love each other as friends u will be just fine.

I say be flattered because she is your longtime friend, but you just found out that she is jealous of you. That means she holds you in higher esteem than herself. She has paid you a big compliment, actually, and you should feel flatterered that she feels that way. That's how I see it.

Cool, ( k. Lung ). Sure we've all been jealous of mates at times, that's why they are our mates, cos we like em, respect em, buzz of em, luv em, hate em. etc em ! Sure, we're bound 2 b jealous of em sometime. Tell her " thanks mate, luv u 2 ! " mail me, u sound essshhhh.

I also have a friend like this...just found out that she's jealous of me in something. I actually don't care,but I just don't like the way that she judged me without any reason!!

Here's what i think. sometimes im jealous of my best friend that shes got a better boyfriend or career with more pay than me and stuffs but to me its more like "i wish i would have a life like her" nothing so negative and thats why we're still bestfriends. so maybe your friend thinks it is good to tell you how she feels but she did not mean to go against you or anything. she is perhaps wishing that her life would be as (almost) perfect as yours na ja
