I got a call this morning at 0620.......my niece in San Francisco had passed.  God has given her peace and she didn't wake up in her sleep. Her husband (by common law), said Eddie...".take a wlk to the beach for us". This is just what I did after breakfast at my favorite place. I walked the beach and gathered my thoughts for the day. I cud see both their faces out on the ocean, a beautiful blue sky, and the beige colored sand with a few bikinis here and there

   I saw her last week of Thur, Fri, and Sunday...she looked happy but drained of all energy. Not being able to hold down any food, and she slept alot because of the medication for nausea, but made her always drowsy. friday, I was able to convince her to eat some strawberry cake and gave her a little piece. She smiled and said it tasted good! Sunday night, I helped her with her socks on her feet, to keep them warm......I hugged her, and she said "Eddie, thanks for coming to see me, and I love you"....... I thought that she was very happy that all of her family was there to be with her, and I thought she wud have stay on longer?

   I feel a little bit numb today, but it will pass..........she didn't want a memorial, etc.......so I will see her again, when my time comes............ Thank all of you, stay healthy and be happy!
