Too much U.S. bashing on TF lately...It's too bad. If you can look beyond the obvious problems, it is a really nice country with such great cultural & artistic diversity.

Oh, don't take this journal that way, Mazzy. Oscar Wilde made everyone equally a target of his rapier wit. And Smartass is not anti-American.

Don't worry Loburt, my post is just a general comment RE: american bashing on TF Forum & journals. I've got nothing against either Smartass (actually prefer to call her Mysterious Flower) or Oscar Wilde. Actually, the two of them together would have made a fairly entertaining combination...

Mazzy: As I'm careful to point out in my America bashing in the forums, it's not about Americans, it's about the actions of the US government. I like America and I have many American friends in the US. But I guess it gets complicated when US citizens take criticism of their government personally. Never a good idea to take politics (or anything on tf) personally.
