I had this awhile ago, I went to the microsoft website and ran a scan from there and it was fixed. If you do a google search and use one of them you will get more viruses.

Oh, I'm having the same problem. But the virus comes from the computer i'm using at the office. My friends told me that they got the same thing that ur friends and relatives have received from you.

Usually, if worse comes to worse, I back up my data on my external hard drive and wipeout my hard drive. You have to make sure you clear the MBR (master boot record) of your hard drive too, and then re-install Windows. Simply "killing microsoft" isn't the answer. (like there aren't any viruses for OTHER OS's) :oP

The best way to deal with it (if you can't find a specific solution) is to format your drive, re-install, and then use some common sense when it comes to strange messages from people... :oP
