This term I’m doing thesis about retirement community...

the data preparation part 4 was due with 50 slides + 8 of a1 papers presentation

and present it for about an hr yesterday ….I’m happy coz its very well done! My retirement community gonna be active one…

with the resident support 70 of independent seniors,

30 of dependent seniors and  20 – 30 of tourists…

and has all the facilities in it like restaurant, spa, clubs,

health center and spaces for all kind of recreation activities

which space requirement is about 13.50 rais (21595.46 sq.m)

and the land I chose is about 20 rais (32000 sq.m)

located near the lake among da hills in Saraburi province

and there is the big golf club called “sir James resort” which is ot far from the site

so I don’t need to create it myself…im so lucky that I’ve found the super perfect 

land for my project…the hospital is nearby and also the temple for thai seniors too…

Do you have any ideas for my project?

Or any suggestion would be MUCH appreciated..

No more data preparing…only publishing into a book…

and then next term I’m going to design it

(10 MB. created in office 2007 but saved as powerpoint 97-2003 presentation

so using the older version all fonts may be messed up ..still dunno how to fix this prob.)

m gonna babble a lil bout the cases study too…

this time I selected some interesting garden like garden for the blind

and Zen garden at Ryoanji temple in Kyoto which is kinda amazing to me…

da garden look simple n contains 15 rocks (15 = completeness in buddhistworld)

n u can see only 14 rocks from any angle (except seein from above)

they said u'll be able to see da 15th rock with mind's eye when attain

spiritual enlightenment from da meditation ... so smart!

there's also research said the spaces between the rocks create

branched tree in people subconscious…I prolly add this zen garden in my project too

So tempting, I want to retire now!!!

very nice.. well thought out... I believe in the near future there will be a need for a place like this where retirees can go...

I just wonder what the total cost would be for land,construction and operational budgets...

ahhh i wonder dat too i didnt do da cost estimate coz it is not gonna be built in real so no point but the land in saraburi province isnt so expensive i guess..(except khaoyai area)

Nery nice design. I looked, but I don't think I saw a jaccuzzi in the plans...lol. Great for tired bones..hehe.

Seriously though. If that land is actually for sale, you should do a cost estimate for the development. You never know who might be interested in your designs if it were a complete package presentation:)
