Seems the music world has lost another great musician.  Jeff Healey lost his battle with cancer and died on Sunday evening in Toronto hospital, he was 41 years old.  For those not familiar with Jeff Healey, he was an excellent guitar player....what made him quite different is that he was blind and had a unique style of playing.  Here are a couple of videos of this man..........enjoy.

That's a big surprise. Didn't even know he had cancer. That's sad he's died so young. He was talented. I remember his startup band when I was a teenager (and so was he), playing around locally. He got a little media attention because of his blindness, but not a lot. He went on to a successful career in rock, jazz and blues, and had even opened a restaurant.

I guess I would have heard if I'd listened to Q107 longer than 5 minutes this morning.

Wow..uhh....what a shock!!!It's sad to hear about Jeff Healey dying of cancer...

especially when it's someone who is young and talented.

Yeah...his song "Angel Eyes" is very special to me...it's one of the most beautiful songs i ever heard...

i loved his music and watched him play in the movie "Road House"...just great!

A very talented and beloved man....

who should make all of us think about complaining about our aches and pains...

This man overcame so much and gave so much to this world with his beautiful talent.

His gift of music to the world will never be forgotten.

God bless Jeff, you will be missed.R.I.P.

Also..very pity..John Stewart died last month with of massive stroke or brain aneurysm ..he died at the age of 68...he was a damned good singer and songwriter and wrote the Monkees most popular hit "Daydream Believer" came out in 1967...a member of the immensely popular Kingston Trio, Stewart also recorded more than 40 albums of his own....including the critically acclaimed "California Bloodlines" and "Bombs Away Dream Babies." Stewart also had a Top 10 hit in 1979 with "Gold." in which the husky-voiced Stewart had a duet with Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks.

R.I.P.John and thanks for giving us such wonderful memories of you and your music.

Here are of his last one's from John Stewart
