next time afook, don't put the spoiler in the headline it'll help people like mistermatlock who have to watch over here with the time-shift.

i'm not a big baseball fan but i *did* see the grand slam in game six.

a schoolmate of mine is from boston and a big red sox fan (even made a red sox related short film, about the world series curse, and had the good fortune to complete it just *before* they broke the curse. so he's creaming in his knickers right about now.

Zeus: I remember when still in grammar school, in the 50's a bunch of us kids used to be able to sneak in fenway park to watch the games....heehee........at today's prices for tickets, those days have been long gone........lol

Yeah, Red Sox did it again coming back from 3 - 1.. pretty amazing

I'm not a fan of Patriots.. but I am expecting some great things from NY Giants this season. First win in the post season, perhaps.

Quote stegee: "good luck for the 'world' series!!"

Quote BJ: "Who says its world series, USA is the only world recognized players of that game, how can it be world series?"

I was unaware Japan, Cuba, The Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Korea, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Columbia (need I go on?) were part of the U.S.A. and not the "world." I'll have to consult my atlas and re-think this whole geography thing. In case y'all haven't figured it out, these countries all have national citizens playing and representing in MLB. I don't know; I'm just guessing here, but MAYBE that means these countries have various league levels to PRODUCE these excellent players. I doubt they just popped magically into the Majors without some high level play in their own countries first. That select Europeans figure it's all soccer and only soccer; wake and smarten up.
