If policemen at the Lumpini police station see me or my gang again they will put an A4 poster with my pic. Says, "UNWANTED" hehe...I have been there may be 10 times ++ My friend and I always lost our book banks, some cards... ATM cards, Credit Cards, ID cards. So when it happened we always go together.Anyway, sometimes ago, I lost 2x,xxx baht from my bank account. I don't know why or how or who did that but my ATM card always with me and I never tell anyone about pin code. I went there, you have to see the policemen face... I think they were smiling like "Look, she come here again..." but that time I was serious... need 2x,xxx baht back. Until now no one get my money back... hrrrr....and last year about Nov. or Dec. not sure... I went there as a witness...IT case. Someone famous in cyber space insulted my coworker, I read it all but I haven't save that content.. so it was deleted or hind somewhere. I arrived the police station about 3 pm. I told them what happened... the police man type everything I told by laptop computer, look good but for 2 pages he spent 3 hours to finished that. I couldn't believe. That time I wanted to tell him, "I beg you please, let me help you"He said IT laws were new for them, and they had no idea about webblog, difference from website? I had to give lecture about it. Well, while I was waiting, there were many foreigner get in, I help them to translate into Thai. hehe funny.And as my case, still silence, nothing move at all. Very good job.

You dont expect the police to actually do anything do you?

They're just there to listen and make you feel better to tell your sad stories. Then they just go back to collecting and counting money for their precinct boss.

I went there and wait for long time for accident case but nothing and too slow

police reports are necessary to have for insurance, employment, and just various record purposes. you get police reports at the police station. you get peace of mind through meditation. and you get justice in the next life. prathet thai mai mee kwam yuthitham!

OR....... do it the same way rich people do it. Hire somebody to help you, the police (bribes/donations) or private investigator. Or do your own investigation, go to the bank and get information. They better give it to you, because it is your account!!! If it was an ATM card theft, then every ATM machine in the world has a camera for taking pictures of EVERY transaction. Tell the bank to give you the records of the pictures and transaction records of ANY and EVERY suspicious transaction related to YOUR account! The squeaky oil gets the wheel.

You wish... only police can do... my friend's credit card was stolen... take 2 months that police went to the bank and asked for the tape from ATM... and you know what, it was not tape. It just a movie clip, low light low quality... and more than that, a police man came to my office ask if I could help him capture the pic from video files.

Haha... ever actually tried that? I had a mobile phone pinched from by my side (I put it on the counter stupidly) once in Singapore while I was turning around for a just moment. The ATM was inside the bank entrance with a security camera pointing straight at it. So, I went to the bank manager and explained, and asked to see the footage of the last 10 mins. "Oh" he said, "That camera is for provention only. We havent had it connected yet"
