Believe it or not I haven't tell anyone to "shut up" before in my life... mostly I keep quiet and listen to them talking "****" but yesterday something happened and I couldn't control, it was over the limit of my patience. It was started when I was assign to do a video for training project. Normally, I always get the plot and discuss with the project owner and I will write screenplay and shooting script before do anything but I didn't get anything before that day.. Without shooting script we couldn't do anything smoothly. So every scenes were like a nightmare for me. The project owner kept telling me, "I want that, I want this, can you shoot this..yak yak yak..." I always tell myself that I must be patient... but she tried to mess around my job... Finally, she told me to be "hurry" she wanted to go to do something else... I said I couldn't work faster than this... I had to tell the camera man what to shoot... and we had to do it many times.. I want just "one take" then she quiet... and then there was problem about the light... she told me to be  "hurry" again. I told her I couldn't do any faster.....I tried to be polite...Then her and her staff mess around again but this time the target was my camera man.... This time level of my patience got low and low...and low.Her boss which tried to please her... said something like "hurry up" hurry up" you guys are so slow" I and my camera man looked at each other faces..I said "Do you wanna do it yourself?" she said "no, I don't have camera"I said "camera is right here, but it's about 200000 baht... and 20000 baht for tripod, not included the lights and light stands, they are  your responsibility" She said "I don't know how to use them" (low voice)I said "If you don't know how to use them... why don't you just SHUT UP!!! and let me work"After I finished work there... I came back to the office and told my boss what was happened, yes, I was wrong... but they not respect our team.I don't know what will happen to me on Monday... to be honest... I felt so good after I said that.

I had a client like that when I was building the news station in India earlier this year - I am very patient, but the clients head of the project is a grade A1 ...well...I was going to say arsehole, but that would be an insult to arseholes everywhere.

Suffice it to say that one day they pushed me to have my guys stop what they were doing and install something that the client didnt need at that time - they didnt even know what it was for, but they demanded that we install it immediately...

Finally my temper snapped and I told his department head that it would be installed when I got to it, and "If you don't like it...you can F*CK OFF!" - the news room full of about 200 staff heard me...! I was very angry...

The next day the CEO of our company came to the site - he said "I hear they rubbed you up the wrong way yesterday...? Haha! Good one...you join a long line of people who have done it!"

We then went out for lunch... he understood exactly why I had been so annoyed - no-one likes that particular client - and even his own engineering department ALL quit within a month of the station going on the air!

I am sure you did the right thing...good one bCool!
