PeeMarc>> here and now, i dont care whether Oscar would be a preverted gay or smart guy.... i just read only what he said.... yes, what he said comes from his perspective (based on his exp.)...

"Love is a misunderstanding between two fools."

i might be wrong... but i make it simple.... if those 2 people are NOT foolish... love is understandable

I assume that this is like two people meeting in a crowded restaurant to have a very private conversation. The public atmosphere helps to keep both parties language and behavior civil and respectable. In this case, it also could invite feedback and perspective from others.

Nothing wrong with this, and it seems to have the potential for either closure or reconciliation....

I have enjoyed postings in the past from both PeeMarc and AAA on a variety of topics. I think that both are thoughtful and have contributed much to this site.

Please could you discuss the details of your sex life, embarrassing toiletry idiosyncrasies and each upload a picture of your partner in an unflattering, uncompromising position?!

Yours in anticipation

Hmmm, though Wilde was more often than not a thoroughly pathetic cynic, on occasion Wilde got it supremely right:

"Men always want to be a woman's first love - women like to be a man's last romance."*

"Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead."

"Who, being loved, is poor?"

==

(* well, in my case, I definitely want to be a certain devil's last romance...)
