This is a real tear jerker of a story

 Christian music singer Steven Curtis Chapman is still coping with the death of his adopted daughter, 5-year-old Maria, who was accidentally struck in the family's driveway by one of her brothers who was returning home in his truck in May 2008.

Chapman, who has been singing Christian music for more than 20 years, told CNN that he felt like he was in a black hole and faced with a God he had not known before. Everything he thought about God was different, he said, and he began to wrestle with his beliefs.read more...  This story is so, so, touching my heart goes out to this guy. I don't even listen to christian music not that there is anything wrong with it, but this story was so sad I thought I would share it with TF. He obviously was crazy about his adopted daughter as you can see from the YouTube video. below. I can see why she is adorable.

R.I.P but in the same time we have 1000 of kids dying in poor country with no Youtube but what we dont see does not affect us ...

Every year 500.000 kids get blind because of lack of vitamin A ...

I am very cynical about 'deluded' Christian singers but anyone parent enduring the pain of losing their child esp in such tragic circumstances deserves a degree of empathy. I cna think of nothing more painful on an individual emotional level than a parent enduring the loss of their child.

That may be a good starting point prior to rightly observing the other daily unseen tragic circumstances for others.

Feel free to post informative journals about other 'unseen' tragic realities for children, individually or collectively, in order to raise awareness for all TF members.
