Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia and is home to the legislative branch of the Federal government. Putrajaya is the primary seat of the federal government where the executive and judicial branches are located. Malaysia's rapid economic growth and prosperity is reflected by the Petronas Towers, the headquarters of the national oil giant in Kuala Lumpur and, at one time, the tallest building in the world.

Genting is sometimes informally known as the Las Vegas of Malaysia, dubbed the "City of Entertainment" as it has the only legal land-based casino in the country and is run by Resorts World Bhd, a subsidiary of Genting Group. In 2006 Guinness World Records listed the First World Hotel as the world's largest hotel with a total of 6,118 rooms. Genting Highlands is also home to a 100 million year old forest.
