This **** from a so-called educated man. Isn't there enough divide, prejudice and misunderstanding in Asia already? Pastor Rony Tan of Lighthouse Evangelism, Singapore, thinks gays and lesbians are sad pathological creatures with dysfunctional families, victims of sexual abuse, abusers of drugs and alcohol, insecure and possessive individuals. He also equates homosexuality with paedophilia and bestiality. as soon as I saw the words 'pastor' and 'evangelism', I knew the guy would be talking through a hole in his arse. Wouldn't it be ironic if he died and went to heaven only to find God was gay? : )

@GAV: Very popular thing to say but it's simply man's nature to be how we are. If it weren't religion we would have some other reason to hate each other. Atheists can be a**holes too.

I'm not usually a defender of religion, mostly because I think it's everyone's personal choice, but one also cannot argue that much good hasn't come out of religion as well. Sure, jackholes like this guy make a big splash because what they say is so utterly moronic but what about the tens of thousands of people of every religion who devote themselves to helping others? Granted that they don't need religion to act selflessly but for many it was religion that brought them to that calling in life.
