Law of Seredipity
Do you believe that something good will eventually happen, if you keep positive?
I have experience a few incidents, which proves that if one keeps positive, good things will happen, no matter how unlikely it may look in the beginning.
Last year, I was looking for a job. I found a few offers that were not bad at all. One of them was with a very good company and my chances were not too bad. But I didn't pursue the offer, for various (stupid reasons). Then I found this job, which gives a higher pay, more salary, and somewhat less pressure as well.
Late last year, I was dying to get an accommodation on Surin Island for my vacation with my bf. From the review, everything looked great, but because of the period that we traveled, we couldn't get the accommodation that we wanted. I was frustrated at first, changed the plan and booked different accommodation. We went to the Island on a day tour, and we were so thankful that we didn't get the accommodation on the Island! We would have been bored to death, because it rained almost throughout our travel period, and there was nothing else on the island for us to see/do.
The past weekend, I went to a travel fair, looking for a good deal for my upcoming vacation next month. I looked through the review and found this one hotel that I was interested in. First time I stopped by and asked for details, the sales person seemed to be all helpful and wanted to sell. I walked out the first time, to check on other hotels for the best option. I eventually went back and wanted to buy the vouchers, but the sales person said there was no room available. I wasn't upset this time. I believe that I would find something much better later.
I just called an owner of a luxurious condominium by the sea, who renting the room out to travelers. The price is a little bit more expensive than the hotel, but the room is bigger, with more facilities and probably more private, in a better location as well.
The law of serendipity amazes me sometimes. I am so looking forward to the vacation!
