This early morning, I woke up at 5 AM. I heard rain and thunder, yeah hard rain in Nonthaburi. My mom said it started about 3 AM. and never slow down....

I thought 6 AM. after I took shower, got dress thought it would get any better, my mom and dad so worried about me if i go out. Cuz it was rain storm i waited like 10 mins. after 6 AM. I said if I didn't go out this moment traffic would gone bad. So I insisted to go out.... That was super bad idea. It was dark, couldn't see the direction cleary.

However, I made it, across Choapraya river, and then in front of Central Rattanatibate, that was it... I stucked there 1 hr, 2 hrs... I update my status on FB cuz I had nothing else to do. 9 AM. I was in the same place.... then I called my coworker that I gave up. I would go home. I was so hungry, my energy had gone... I turn on radio 100 MHz they said, there was flooding in Ngamwongwan at the expressway and small cars shouldn't come to that direction, cuz many cars were broken down.. So I didn't have second thought. But it's too late to go back home, believe it or not it spent more than 1 hr. to take u-turn back to my place.

On the way back home, I had seen Rattanatibate Rd. another side of the road full of cars, cars everywhere... Actually, I had a thought to go to singing class this evening, cuz I have to practice a song for show on this Sat. but situation like this, I don't wanna go to fight with bad traffic... grrrrrr...

Hope tomorrow it won't be like this.

It was pretty bad this morning...I live on Kruengthepnon where they are doing skytrain construction. It took me over a half hour to do a U-turn outside of my house. I commute north in the morning against the traffic, so after that U-turn everything was clear.

The thunder woke me up this morning. I watched the flood water run down my street, and the lightening hit the Bayoke Tower. It only took about 20 minutes before the water was flooding where I live. People now (at 6:30pm), are still cleaning up from it. You must have been very frustrated being caught in the traffic, and not able to go anywhere.

I've been in places in the USA were traffic is this bad, and sometimes worse. Where I lived at Lake Tahoe, after a storm, and the avelanches closed the roads in the Winter (just like floods closing roads), or after a busy holiday weekend, It easily took people 5-7 hours to get the 5 miles out of town. It would take me 2 hours to go 1 mile to get to the back roads in town to get home from work.

Then in the San Francisco bay area during rush hour it takes about 4 hours to get the 3 miles across the city on the freeway. It is nothing for it to take 2 hours to get to work, in an area that only takes 15 minutes to get across when it isn't rush hour.
