I've got a few friends that managed to get jobs by just pounding the pavement & handing in their CVs. 2 of them managed to get jobs working in hotels by doing that.

Some others said If you can't do the teaching thing & don't have a field of expertise then it depends on who you know.

I'm not really familiar with looking for a job in Thailand so I reckon the others will have more advice for you :)

How 'unskilled' are you?

Can you speak properly? Read and write clearly and without spelling mistakes?

If so, you could probably get a job teaching English - although not in a developed area, somewhere in the boondocks.

probably english teacher if english is your own mothertongue (some certificates are required)

other languages seem not to be required as english.

for other positions, you should look into big companies (in term of staff and capital) due to thai law for labour
