Across the world, women are sending their panties to Burmese embassies. Burma’s superstitious leaders, particularly junta chief Than Shwe, believe that contact with women’s clothing deprives them of their power. The “Panties for Peace” campaign has now come to Thailand after springing up in Australia, Europe and Singapore.
