Last trip in Thailand
Now that I've got more time (free days), I can write about my last journey in Thailand.
Just a week before I went, I discovered TF. As I had tried some stupid chat, I was quite cautious, and shy too. But a few ppl opened the door and thanks to them (a special to Phannapa_Houngratana), because it's a really great place. In Bkk I had the luck to go to a TF party (special thanks to Asianchickygirl and Davidbkk) and had a great time, knowing TFers. Then you know, it's like a snowball. And now that I'm far again, I enjoy TF more and more.
I had to go back to work, (exhausting, quite run all the time), so I could just read the journals and write some short comments, or copy songs I like because I'm feel like them..
I love Thai music and dancing there because I dance crazy and many Thais too. I feel home. So I begun to look for places I had found in internet, magazines, or recommended. Great time. I love Isaan music ? I know many of you don't, but the first time I heard it, in Chiangmai last year, I fell in love with it, like if I had known it forever, maybe in another life; I can here it for hours - so I explored those places too, most of the time alone, I like it also, you meet ppl you wouldn't if not alone. Isaan Tawaden, Bahn Mai Den are the ones I preferred. Nicha and Sunee took me to other places that I enjoyed very much also, for the places, and surely more for their so nice company (and great dancing!!). I went to Immortal and Lucifer, and enjoyed it. Now there are much more places I want to go (long list), a good program for my next trip. Anyone who wants to go with me is welcome.
After the Tsunami, I didn't know where to help. When I read in the news papers "Students are helping in Thamasat", I did not know what it was, I felt so stupid (now I know? but still stupid). Next day I saw another picture of student in the Red Cross, and beside there was the address, so I went there and could give a hand. I met two Aussies, (not TF but great ppl too, he he). I went to Phuket to help ? they had assured me they still needed people ? but just to listen that we could go away. So I came back to Bkk.
Then, as maybe you read it in my journal, I lost my passport and ticket 2 hours before going to the airport. So I could stay 4 days more, and enjoyed them so much (in the night, because in the day, it was not so funny to find out how to go back). And since I had no problem getting late to work, I am very happy of what happened to me.
Now I'm planning to return to Thailand for the two last weeks of March, also in July. Can a country and a people be like a drug? It seems Thailand yes at least for me.
I could tell much more but I hope I was not too long already, and my English too bad (a**hole frenchie I am, as I read in a journal...).
I hope to see you there soon.
