This is my lesson... hope u guys won't get the same experience like me...

I went shopping around Rachadamri Rd. lastnight with my colleage, Chick..

The last place that we went to was Siam Discovery... we were so tired.... i was exhausted.. cuz all the new year time .. i always went shopping. Started from 28 'til lastnight

Actually, i could take BTS and then MRT to get home very easy.. but i didn't have energy to bring myself upstair to take BTS home.. and Chick, her place was not far but she had to walk...and she said she couldn't even lift her legs to walk.... so we decided to take a taxi...

However, no taxi came around that place so we took the bus to Central World Plaza to find a taxi there.... we got off the bus and got the first taxi that we saw.

I told the taxi driver to go to Ratchada.. but pls drop my friend at Pratunam.

He said Pratunam was over there... just go straight... i told him i know the way just do as i say... then we told him the direction... after he knew he had to go in soi.. he complaint a little bit...

So strange if u can see how he drive the car.. he drove and then stopped.. and i saw. he stopped at the u-turn i thought he was making a decision...

when he came in the soi he almost stopped the car in front of a curtain hotel...i thought he didn't know the direction or what.!!

i kept told him the direction to my colleage's place....hrr... we still save, finally.

after dropped my colleages there i told him the direction to my place.

at the intersection. while i was sending SMS i just saw the other car started movie.. but.. my driver stay still.. his head was hanging down.... i shouted... "p' taxi kha, it's green light kha" then he said with the sleepy vioce.."Oh oh i know" then he continue drive...

This time i had a thought... i should get off the taxi when i had a chance... Oh snail... it was too late.. he drove to soi Mo Leng... good that he didn't drive to fast..and i know he tried so hard to keep his head up and keep the car in the lane... damn it...

I just pray for him and pray for myself. I wanted to send message to Chick but i thought it was better if i keep him wake up, by tell him the direction, he said he knew the way (i was annoying him) lol... damn i just worry if he fell asleep there it was dangerous... cuz every car drove very fast as same as expressway...if i got off there i couldn't get any taxi.

Finally, we turned to Ratchada.... what a relief... i should tell him to park the car some where... but he drove so fast.. in the middle off the road...atleast it was nearly my place... just pray....i saw his head fell down sometimes... and couldn't keep the car in track.. ¨Ã¶Ö§ºéÒ¹ÃÑéÂà¹ÕèµÙ

then i saw the emerald hotel... that meant home... finally he brought me here.. hope going in the soi was not so hard..

What a relief i arrived home i saw the meter it was showing 71 baht.. i gave him 80 baht i said "don't change" (cuz i wanted to get off as soon as possible) then he yelled at me "I HAVE !!!" "oh ok" i said. his sleepy head and sleepy hands tried to find 10 baht for me...

That's my lesson...i should be careful about taxi driver, if i see something not right i should get off and get another one..Stupid me!!!

See how lucky i was that i could get home in one piece.. and tell u this story

Yikes... That guy shoulda pulled over somewhere to sleep.

I've had some scary taxi experiences but those have been the heavily amphetamined 150kph types.

It's not fun at all when you get a dodgy taxi driver.

I was coming back from Bang Plhi at about 3pm in the afternoon. The taxi driver was doing over 100kph and swerving everywhere. To keep a long story short, from Bang Phli to Central Bang Na (where I made my early escape), he drove off the road twice, had to brake to a squeeling stop twice (so as not to hit something in front), and smashed his mirror side-swiping a truck! F#ck me it as terrifying.

I have experienced this quite a number of times in Singapore, Bali and also in Bangkok. I pray hard. Should a taxi driver sleep while on the job and should we meet with an accident and survive, I will personally kill him.
