I bought ?Thailand Fever? and read it in a few days. I?m not an expert about Thailand but it seems great to me, VERY interesting. I would recommend it to everybody interested by Westener/Thai relationships.

Have some TFers read it? If yes, I?d like your opinion about it on 2 questions:

- what do you think of the general description of the differences btw westerners and thai?

- HOW do you feel you are and are not like the average westerner or thai described in the book (TFers seem to me to be special folks, he he?), HOW and WHERE you recognize yourself or NOT??

I?ll post it also in forums, so answer where you prefer. If this topic has already been posted (but I didn?t found it), sorry, and please let me know, I?ll take it off.

And another question: I went to the Immortal 2 days ago, there was absolutely NOBODY! Somebody knows why? Did Immortal change since January?

i have no clue.. dont expected me to say anything much.. due to lack of english.. but try to talk with foreignes who living here.. they always have some info for u..

i must say when u talk about anything serious... political etc.. dont expect thai girls to say anything much coz everytime i saw u white guys discuss about wot going on in Thailand and no Thais say anything much (and Thai members in TF are mostly girls..a very little amount of Thai guys in TF.)
