Sorry if im posting in the wrong forum i couldnt find a "food" segment here. But share youre favourite dishes, and if possible what it is and what makes it special My number 1 with absolutely no comparision is Tom Ka Gai, coconut soup with chicken, i actually like it without the chicken when im out as i get more soup which i could live off the rest of my life. Its creamy and the coconut combined with the little spicy spark (i really enjoy when they make it really spicy) - just melts in the mouth, taste is superb. Im wondering if there are any other dishes where coconut is used like that, if there are sauces or similar made with coconut ?

Hi, its been a while since I was on this page dont remember my old account name but... The reason back then a few years ago was to flirt and find a relationship, now this is sorted I married a thai girl who I run a business with back in Sweden. We got 1 shop where we sell normal candy, tobacco and stuff but we also sell Thai Food to Swedish customers and to Thai customers. I have been thinking about why should I buy from another company in Sweden if I could do it from someone directly in Thailand but unfortunatly my wife´s family are not the business kind of people and cant help with this stuff even if that would be the best solution. I want to ask for advice on how I may find a company that might be willing to let me order Thai Food such as Noodle, Rice, Vegtables, Sauces and Spices and so on... Door to door with this shop we got another business with ThaiMassage. In here most of the time my wife work alone, we often have to ask other Thai Girls to come in and help with customers when there is to many but this is not a good solution in the long run and because you can make more money working with cleaning in Sweden than I can offer with ThaiMassage (because you dont have 8 customers in 8 hours working day while if you work with cleaning you usually work 8 hours think u get the idea)... I would appriciate advice on how I can get in contact with good staff who can speak English (not need to be perfect but at least enough to speak with customers) and are skilled with Thai Massage. If you know someone who might be intrested they can send me a PM in here. Minimum sallery will be about 50000Baht per month and the contract will state you work 20 hour per week as minimum that will be sent to the government. I hope you can give advice or tell people who might be intrested in either of the 2 things I ask for help with. Thanks in advance. If intrested you may check our websites. www.thaimassagenykoping.se www.thai-mat.se www.stadninghemma.se

This has to be the most absurd, ignorant, and painfully retarded article I've ever read. http://christwire.org/2011/12/thai-food-and-homosexuality-the-shocking-link/

Having been a military brat and moving all around the USA and then working and travelling abroad, I have come across quite a few enjoyable restaurants. Here are just a few of my favorites. Do you have any? Henry's Hi-Life, San Jose, California. Great ribs, chicken and chops: The Cat's Meow, New Orleans, Louisiana. The best Oyster Poor Boy sandwich ever : The BBQ Hut, Patong Beach, Thailand: The best Mexican food on the island. The BBQ Ribs aren't bad either: The Gumbo Shop, New Orleans, Louisiana. Great gumbo: The Blue Parrot Bar, Pattaya, Thailand. Great Chimichangas: Longhi's, Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Great oven baked omelettes: Nanai BBQ Buffet, Patong Beach, Thailand. Can't beat all you can eat for 120 Baht:

If you're going to eat Thai food, it's just about impossible to avoid fish sauce. It's added to many dishes whether you know it or not. Personally, I dislike it. Bad smell, bad taste, but I can tolerate it in things like sum tom. Several years ago, channel 11 had a documentary about how fish sauce is made (traditionally, not commercially). It showed these guys dropping whole fish into a large porcelain urn, covering it, and letting it ferment for six months, hence, fish sauce! Yuck!!! So what do you think? Is it a good thing or awful???

Where does one find the perfect pad Thai recipe? And what is pad Thai? Plus who is Lily Thai? I think this is a Thai Culture related thread.
