Jared2000
I am always looking for new investments and opinions on the markets. This might be something that most of you don't care about, but it is on my mind. Knowing that there are a lot of people out there that know a great deal more than me, I am setting up this post. Please include your stock picks, the exchange they are traded on and your reason for picking that stock. I will start. Citibank © traded on the NYSE ( New York Stock Exchange ). I see the financial crisis as yesterdays news and this is one of the survivors. Like with any survivor of a banking crisis they will eventually achieve at least part of their old value. For the person who invests in them today, simply buy some of their stock and forget about it. Come back to citibank in 3 years and look at what you have made. The government will be out of it by then and they will begin retiring some of their issued shares. Now they are back to making money, so they will have the cash flows to get the number of shares outstanding down. Buy citibank, you will thank me later. I might be misunderstanding your reply, but I was not asking you if you wanted to buy citibank. I would prefer to here what companies you think are good companies. I already bought citibank, I don't want to buy more of it.

If I new the company name, I might look into it.

Jared2000
Even with a reverse split at maximum you are looking at a 3 to 1 reverse split. I think that would take the stock price to 12 dollars in 3 years there is a good possibility the stock will be trading at 40. Perhaps it will not be a 1000% gain, but 333+% in 3 years is pretty good. My guess is it would be hard to match those gains anywhere in the market.
