Loburt
not saying anyone in hiroshima in particular was guilty or deserved what they got. but nations that inflict horrors on others can only expect to have horrors inflicted on them in return. that includes the usa. while i feel sympathy for the individual survivors of Hiroshima, it's hard to shed tears at the annual wailing by the Japanese every Aug 6 when they don't teach their kids what their nation did earlier this century. there is also a bit of a difference. the japanese army that committed atrocities around Asia fully understood what they were doing. I don't think Harry Truman fully comprehended the horror of an atomic weapon before he actually dropped them. which is why when he was lobbied several times after that during the Korean war to use them, he flat out refused every time.
