dannyboy
i spoke to the thai cosulate in Hull (uk) yesterday and they said the non immigrant multy entry B visa is NOT affected. this allows entry for up to 12 weeks @ a time for up to a year.so you have to do a visa run every 3 months and renew after 12. as far as i know these visa are available in your home country plus SOME asian countries , including singapore malaysia and hong kong.if anyone knows of anymore could they post them please.the cost of them i know of the uk 0nly, £97 about $180 or 7000tb . i shouldnt imagine there will be much differance in price across the world. for this visa you dont need to deposit any money in a thai bank ,be married or retired.i hope this helps somebody. English_George
I don't think it's going to be that bad.......but that's what i thought before I watched the godfather part 3. Things are often 'promised' during election time. Look at George W Bush during the election, he promised to eat all his vegetables, did he? That's like McDonald's telling all the fat people they can only buy one hamburger each time they visit. Is it viable?........................I'll need time to think about that one...no.

Yes I checked also as I have a B visa and it is not affected at all. Incidentally the thing with the B Visa is you can apply for it anywhere but the amount of paperwork you have to do in Thailand to get one from your own Consulate is 3 times that doing it at home for some reason.
