I don't seem to be able to find any resources on the subject. Some examples might be. Thai North- East said, Nham = beautiful Nham LAi = more Nham LAi LAi = most and "Dur" is the end... Nui Posted November 23, 2005 Report Share Posted November 23, 2005 Hello. Better late than never. I am not used to read thai written in English - only in Thai. But the replies seem to be correct. When you double the words like beautiful, tall, far away and others then it simply means .... that it is VERY or MORE beautiful, taller, or futher away. But if your really want to know the different, then you should take the time to go to a good school or a private teacher and learn to read and write thai. It will take a lot of time, but if you live in Thailand it will be a lot more quick, than it have been for me, learning it while I was living in Denmark.
