Goodghost
http://www.snopes.com/rumors/cool.htm Always trying to make a buck off anything even a tragedy. In Bangkok there was a poster dipicting a woman holding a tray with two cups up to her breasts with 2 streams of milk squirting into the cups. Many, many complaints in central Ladprao. When I complaned that their poster was a bit rude they asked me what I was going to order then asked me to leave if I wasn't gonna buy anything. They're idiots. I support the absolute boycott of Starbucks - You should too. They also tried to charge $130 for bottles of water to the rescue workers at the time of the collapse. http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=starbucks&getit=Go&sp-a=00062d45-sp00000000&sp-advanced=1&sp-p=all&sp-w-control=1&sp-w=alike&sp-date-range=-1&sp-x=any&sp-c=100&sp-m=1&sp-s=
zeusbheld
for me personally, my boycott of starbucks would be ineffectual, since i dont' go there already. snopes is a great site.
bryanwhat
I haven't had Starbucks in a few years, but now I will be sure to go out of my way not to have a cup of coffee there. Not because of what they have done, just because I think their coffee is crap and overpriced.
zeusbheld
I boycott Starbucks because they released a Paul McCartney CD in 2006. What's worse is that they played it instore. They should now be obliged to offer free in-store counselling to all those poor little children who will no doubt be damaged forever having been unwittingly subjected to McCartney's puke lyrics and one dimensional chords  . AMC coffee is HOT, Starbucks is NOT  can't someone sue them for the mccartney thing? i mean some of the children must have gotten brain damage from it right? my fav cup is MUD in the east village NYC. it's usually served from a truck, parked at astor place or thereabouts. they've opened a coffee shop these days and have min-branches in shops, etc. however, none of this helps me in bkk. so i stick to 'sock coffee' from the street cart, the older the sock the better. oh ps: you're just plain "marty" now? one-word name, like madonnut or stink? Achilles
Most comparable beverage there is to the murkiness and aroma of the Chao Phraya river..... Or the Hudson for the matter, speaking in zeusian coordinates.... Starbucks is one of those places like Burger King..... you know that someone will always drag you into one of them..... Its a bit like a tequla shot, you never have the idea or the cariving for it, its always someone else who make you commit the mistake.... Wonders of globalization and prefabrication.... Don't know where's is the complaint, this is progress is it not?

Matthew
I love to hear the loud noise of the blender crushing ice whilst sipping on a warm, over-priced, bad tasting coffee... ha ha
