I have been gambling and losing a lot of money at casinos.

Do i have a gambling problem or just a losing problem?

After losing a lot of money, did you feel that you must return to gambling as soon as possible to win back your loss?

These remind me about the movie called "Owning Mahowny". Gambling is like a disease. It?s not your fault if you contract it, but it?s your responsibility to do something sensible about it. :D

I also read that gambling is a disease..

so i stop...

depends, has anyone hired a motocy taxi guy to kneecap you? (that's a gambling problem).

if you're merely broke and obsessing on gambling again, that's a losing problem.

Its a Gambling problem

The odds at casinos are stacked in favour of the house.

Losing ,aside possibly from playing poker(well), is a long term near dead certainty.

as you've defined it that sounds more like a losing problem. sorta like being a hammer and betting with your heart ;)

Well the losing aspect is more a near mathematical dead cert than a problem as such. Its the gambling habit and the forlorn hope that you can miraculously beat the house is where the problem lies.

On the other hand a wager on the Hammers surviving would have brought handsome returns.WHUFC are bit like Beemers-ultimately Very dependable

If you have to gamble, change over to poker. You have a chance of winning there over the long term as long as you are better than the people you play against. Gambling against the house is a losing proposition over the long haul. Craps and blackjack give you the odds that are least stacked in the houses favor though, but you have to know how to play them. The house has a 1.5 - 2.5% edge on you in both of hose games, even if you play them perfectly. That means practice poker if you have any ambition to win in the long term. Don't go near the spinning wheel games. They typically have the worst odds.

There are professional poker players. There is no such thing as a professional craps, roulette or blackjack player. (Note on blackjack - Unless they are counting cards and working as a team to juice the bets when the deck is "hot". Side note - The casino will ban you or have security remove your teeth in the back alley for card counting)

Hkbbkhk, why do so many people from Hong Kong have gambling problems? Was it the British fault, your horse racing calendar or that little Portuguese island just next door..or what?

Aiii yaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Just throw the Brits a nice tea party like we did in 1776 in the USA!

Unlike people in usa. People in asia enjoy tea.

Just buy a few more europe football club is a better idea.

nice to see ah merkin sports money used for something besides the NFL actually.

gotta figure if these guys can make a business of boring sports like NFL and baseball, they ought to do well enough running the business end of a sport that is already popular.

Yes you have a gambling problem .

For a bit of entertainment and a good night out , it can be good fun .

If you want to make money , then write a book along the lines of

" how to win money at casinos " and take some more money from gamblers who still believe that they can win .

Maybe you are greedy and dont know when to stop ???

I remember someone telling me that once you have won half of your

stake ( what you are willing to risk ) , its time to stop or go home .
