LasseDK
Got a little issue here. Got my own phone (danish) but calling to this from thailand cost a fortune. Any ideas on how i could get a thai mobile-number from here ? that would put the cost on my end which is fine, just dont know how i would be able to do that when im in denmark now. Or maybe you have a nice little trick to get around this issue ?
toma
eBay -> 1-2-CALL It's a prepaidcard - inner Thai calls cost about 1 cent per minute. Calls from Thailand to Dansk about 14 cent per minute. Your family and friends can call you for less than 10 cents per minute.

If i get this right - i would buy a SIM card off E-bay right ? and be able to fill it up or something online or ?

toma
You buy the sim-card + credit.. all you've to do is to call a number and register your card. And back in Thailand you can top up your card at every 7/11.

funky_house
As you come through Customs at Suvarnabhumi, turn right,, and about 50 metres down, there is are AIS and DTAC shops. You can buy a Thai SIM card and credit there. These cards only have a 3 or 6 months life, unless you keep topping them up. Have you also considered using Skype. or Gizmo5 to make calls back to Denmark?
