Incredible all of the political dribble that people are now engaging in with over analysis of Obamas impact on the Chicago bid.

The Republicans were criticising him for going. Now they are rejoicing blaming it on Obama that Chicago lost the bid!

Seems to me most in the IOC probably didn't want to deal with American Immigration! Oh, and the fact the Chicago bid was the only one without govt funding for the games.
