Today I'm going to Baytok, bayok, batok whatever, a big tower with panoramic restaurant.We tried to go two days ago or three, but it was a rainy rainy evening with monster traffic jam, so we went to a korean bbq instead, nice. I've been told the tower is expensive, because we are going for the buffet too, with a circular panoramic view, anyway I want to see that, probably by night, and I ate nothing for the whole day, so beware if you plan to go to the whatever tower this evening, don't come too late or you'll eat the plates only!

Baiyoke is not that expensive. 350 baht last time I went if I'm not mistaken. The buffet is okay, and the views are spectacular when the weather cooperates. Try to get there before sunset and then watch darkness fall on the city as you dine. Also fun to be there during a rip-roaring thunderstorm! lol

Decent horse running this weekend in Paris @ the Prix de l'arc de Triomphe (Europe's most valuable horse race) called Shirocco .Could be a culinary omen.

Have never been Baiyok...but the place have been....that I had to dress nice....and with high-heel shoes...and look too Hi-so for me.....on the silon street is expensive for sure.
