One of my favorite hotels in BKK is the President Solitaire on Soi 11 (not to be confused with the Grand President).  So whenever I'm walking down towards Sukhumvit I always pass the Bed Supper Club.  I keep meaning to check it out but I normally never get around to it.  I've heard some people rave about the place and others who say it's shite.  Anybody have any advice on whether it's worth checking out?  And yes, I've already gathered that it's way overpriced :-)

What's the deal with Wed nights? Most of the bad things I've heard about Bed comes from people who went on a Wed night.

I think Bed supperclub is a cool place.

Price is something you pay for atmosphere.

Just don't drop at Sunday night if you are not Gay ...

Too much bling and no enough substance. There are places with better enviroments, both cheaper and more expensive.

From time to time they organize some good gigs with Defected in the House label DJ's.... Yummy House. Last one I went to was with Simon Dunmore.... Juicy.... One month before that they brought in Laurent Garnier..... so from time to time they do pull out good ights... You just have to check their website or read Guru from Bangkokpost for upcoming gigs....

If it had a better smoke eliminater, it would be good, but the times 'ive stopped by it was always to smokey to stay more than an hour. It seemed like half the people there smoked cigs, and yeah, a lot of posers, and wantabees.

The place it's nice, can't complain about it. Even though I prefere Flix instead. The crowd is more fun oriented there. Just my 2 satangs.

Shitty drinks, old fat blokes everywhere, rude staff. Normally too packed on their theme nights. Over all, it's OK - compared to many other clubs.
