Some Dips for your Party

Put the bread in the oven or in oiled pan and let it become crispy and with a golden brown color. Serve with this delicious dipping sauces.

Spinach dip

1 (300 gr.) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained 250 ml sour cream 250 gr. mayonnaise 1  chopped green onions 2 teaspoons dried parsley 1 teaspoon lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon salt  

In mixing bowl, combine spinach, sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, and salt. Mix  then refrigerate.

 HUMMUS DIP : 600 gr. canned  chickpeas80 gr. tahini ( sesame cream)

juice from 1 squeezed lemon

1-2 garlic cloves

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1/8 teaspoon baking soda

salt

olive oil

parsley

Put the chickpeas into a food processor and grind well. . Add the tahini and the rest of the ingredients and go on with the food processor until you get the desires texture. If the Humus is too thick, add some water.Serve with some good olive oil and chopped parsley. Babaganush:

1 onion

3 eggplants

3cloves garlic

Salt

juice from 1 squeezed lemon 250 gr.Yogurt 3 large spoonfuls  tahini

Make slashes in eggplants (so they don't explode)

Put in 200° oven. Cook for 1 1/2 hours (or peel slice and grill them)

Take out of oven and cool until they can be handled. Then peel the eggplant.

Put eggplant in food processor for a short time,not until it's snooth. Then add 6 cloves of minded garlic.

Add salt and lemon salt and yogurt. Add tahini and more salt to taste.

Drizzle a little olive oil on top.

Olive Oil

BasilGarlic salt

Slice  tomatoes and mix it with the basil, chopped garlic ,salt and olive oil....

 Enjoy you party : )

i love creamy dips ..... but too scared of fat and calories!

once bought 'kraft' 'non-fat mayo' it tasted like melted plastic! Any other options?

Babaganush sounds yummy and light, i might try that!

Lyna....if you cook bruschetta for us at the next party...you are welcome in the italian family!!!! expecially now that Chris will live with me...ahahah

Cutieeeeeee.....mmmm thai girls are becoming low fat food lovers.... don't forget that mediterranian diet is really healty..and a good extravirgin olive oil...is not the same fat as ....butter...or ...Mcdonalds food...or pizza hut...or stuff like that.... so...less junk food...more good food...
