Who we love always love us less than those who love us

Sitting here…questioning myself “Why we have to fall for those who don’t love us”

“Why don’t we fall for those who are good and more importantly… ”they love us”

I think I figured it all out…It’s because for those who we love…we’ve built the love up all by ourselves.

We feel proud of the love we have designed without any conditions.

“LOVE” whenever it happens with anyone. We will give all our attention on it more than to care if  the person we love feels the same.

And when love shows up…there come thoughts and expectation that the one we love should love us back in return. We end up feeling the one we love doesn’t love as much as we love them

“To love needs to happen in his heart by himself…, it’s enforceable, it’s uncontrollable"

I guess we don’t have to do anything to MAKE them love us.

Only do good, be good for those who we love , just like our parents do to us.

It’s like our mom and dad ALWAYS complain about us.

But they ALWAYS love us too. Right?

simple answer: love is a dog from hell.

you're correct Smily...but little semantic thing, , if you "fall" for someone, that isn't loving, so questioning "falling for those who dont love us" is bit "twisted", as it would give idea that you equate "falling" with loving, and one sided loving is quite rare anyway. But then again, there is so many types of "loving" that actually english language falls bit short in it. (It is bit like when they say eskimos have over 50 words for snow...there is so many types of love too...)

Hehe Thanks guys...just that lately I have been after those who don't love me and feel a little down I don't love those who are after me even they've been so nice and all to me haha I'm sure this is happening to many of us.I'm cool really, just felt like sharing the song and the words Thank for stoppin' by.

Well, I would differentiate "romantic love" and "friendship" or attachment to members of your family. In the case of "romantic love" it sometimes seems like the more you love or are attracted to someone, the less they are into you and vice-versa. I don't know why that is, your explanation for it is as good as any, but not entirely satisfactory. My advice : move on. The world is a big place, so many nice loveable people to meet...You don't need the others.
