It's in the South of France, it's called the 'viaduc de Millau'. It's build because before u had to cross the 'la vallee du Tarn' (a river) and u got a lot of traffic jams and pollution at the little town called Millau. It's really an impressive bridge.

yep, one of the most picturesque places in France is "Gorges du Tarn", the Tarn valley in the cevennes area, which is great for plenty of activities, but especially great for motorcycling, road or offroad:

Le viaduc de Millau:

The worlds higest AND longest cable stayed bridge of the world, opened in Dec. 2004. I really HAVE to go there, because I remember the time when I crossed this area in 1989 - and it was terrible, because it took me more than one hour for about 25kms. Well, at this time, Highway 75 did not exist at all.... BUT: Millau as a town is great!

Unfortunately, as a driver, you will not be able to enjoy all of the natural beauties the area and also the bridge crossing will provide. If you ever happen to be in this area - go for a tour through Gorges du Tarn!
