Ok so i'm gonna make the short hop over to Thailand at the end of next month (flights to bkk as of today are £120!!1111)

However i was going to head over to samui to see my friend who has been living/djing there for a few years now, except now he tells me he's going home to the uk for a few months to make some more wedge.

So my question to you lot is;

1) Shall I go to Samui anyway (ive been 3 times already and seen pretty much everything)

2) Head up to Chiang Mai (never been)

3) Phuket (Been once but only for 3 days)

4) Koh Samet (Never Been)

5) Pattaya (Im never going here alone)

6) Hua Hin (Never Been)

7) Stay in Bangkok and get leathered with you lot every night of the week.

8) All of the above :o

9) A combination of the above

10) None of the above

I'll be there for about a week, maybe 8 days.

Regardless i'll be spending at least one weekend in bkk.

Would say avoid Samui if you have seen it all. Personally would recommend Chiang Mai - it' s my fave place in Th, plenty to do and see, and good hopping off point for hill country of Chiang Rai etc.

Instead of Pattaya, maybe go just souht of it to Hat Jamtien?? More family orientated but still very busy!!

If you do go to Chiang Mai, would say you need 3 days at least there!!

Hope this helps

i vote for Koh Samet, close to Bangkok and on the way you can drop at Pattaya and party you butt off :D

CM is interesting but this time would be damn hot up there...

wherever you go, have a good trip!

i think Samed , CM and Bkk ..

Samed for some tan& beach party

CM for some adventure activities.. visit some water fall.. flower garden..and temples.. try some northern dish would be a good idea..

BKK for crazy night out and river trip ..

be safe and enjoy!!

good advice from PeeMarc! not a big fan of Pattaya myself but a day trip would not give you a damager. At least, you see it yourself rather than being told. It's dumping down everywhere so wherever you go....Take a raincoat! Have a great holiday!
