After a month and 3 weeks of pressure / stress / illness. Today is quite good for me hrrrrrrrrrrr...... New project will come later but at least I have a short time to take a break.  So today I have a chance to "chit chat" with my colleages...yeah!!!A colleage of mine told me a funny story, she works for recruitment dept. One day a girl from some airline come to the interview. P'Jay, my colleage interviewed her. P'Jay : Ahh from your resume' it said you work for ..... Airline. So you have to deal with the foreigners a lot?Airline girl : yes. (smile)P'Jay : OK. What if they get angry what did you say to them in English?Airline girl : That's so easy... I told them "Cold heart please!! Cold heart please" P'Jay : (Trying not to laugh) Ok thks for coming kha....Haha I couldn't stop laughing... That was so Tinglish!!!Cold = Yen (Thai)

Heart = Jai (Thai)Yeah ok may be she was right. Think look!!

I know her a little go.... and I will see how many water she can go... haha

I can just imagine how fustrating it is at times working for an Airline,the travellers get very hot blooded at times as

it can be very tiring and fustrating also.

Patience is always a good thing.

Sounds like an urban legend to me. Air hostess have to pass a minimum TOEIC score and once selected, they get very specific training on how to handle such situations.

Even if she sneaked through the interviews with rubbish English and fell asleep during the English training, one of her colleagues would have noticed such a blatant error.

Typical urban legend -- it's always a second hand story...

Her lovely English helps the passenger not to stay angry but laugh. I always make mistakes when I speak English too, as funny as when farang try to speak Thai.

Same as hospital, when I tell people that I work for hospital, people 1st thought that I was a nurse or doctor but I'm not... there are many job positions in one company kha. Same as Airline, she isn't air hostess for sure...

my nurse friend told me a story of her another nurse friend that when her friend was taking care of a foreign patient, after the conversation with the doctor and her nurse friend wanted to ask him to wait outside.
