Feast in the street. Like every year some neighbours organized an event in our street last week. The entrances to the street are blocked, no cars parked and it's always nice to talk with the neighbours and have some beer and Belgian fries together. Fortunately the weather was quite good and we could enjoy our day. I think the fact it's quite an old district and almost all original habitants are gone and a lot of young couples, of every kind, renovated the houses. They're bored with sitting in their own cocoon and try to get more contact with their neighbours. Some pics:

It's good to live in  a nice neighbourhood.

After that  I went to my brother to have dinner with some other family members. But that's another story, maybe tomorrow.

I always wonder why there are never any trees in the streets in Belgium.

reminds me when I was younger - our local road in the UK did the same thing.
