BJ 0 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share Amazing Eric, when the plane takes off you sort of have to ask if its trick photography. If it's all real its just bloody amazing. Link to comment
AAAum 5 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share great! but i just wonder that's for simulation, hobby, presentation or what? Link to comment
KingLing 0 Posted September 19, 2008 Report Share Eric, That was kool. My brother flies mini remote control planes in San Diego. I went with him one weekend and could not believe my eyes when your up close. He builds his own planes. The one I like is the Bart Simpson in the old Red Baron Biplane he built from scratch. BkkPilot 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share It's all real. The engines are real jet engines (and cost a fortune). People do it for fun, hobby I guess. You might have noticed that the landing gear never came up - I wonder whether it is fixed (as in not-retractable - unlike the real airplane), or if they did not retract it on purpose (like they do on "virgin" flights, just to be safe). Mhhh, flying virgins..... Link to comment
thaibel 2 Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share Yeahhh, I've seen it in real also (with other model planes) and it's just unbelievable how much time and money some of them put in this hobby. I think the landing gear is just not retractable. You can also notice that when taking off it's going quite quick, nothing like the real thing. I hope to fly one day on the real plane also.
