I don't like cat as I tend to have a tough time breathing when they are around ... Although I did got myself a cat after went to the shelter to make some donation and volunteer to walk a few dogs with friends and saw this poor old cat in the corner of the cage. The vet told me that she have been there for almost 3 months now. The old owner declawed her so she couldn't fight with the other cats at the shelter plus she is way too old for people to adopt her ( she was 9 years old when I got her ) so I took her home ... I guess after all she have gone tru it's hard for her to trust human again but we have been together almost a year now .. And she is in a much better shape ( way too fat for a cat actually ) ... And I'm happy to have her ...

I have two cats. The red-yellow is the sweetest, it's not a real cat ..... it's more like a dog ;-). The other is a Norwegian forest cat and very on his own, he can be sweet if he's hungry :-D.

I haven't been kept awake all night by noisy cats.

I haven't read any newspaper stories about children killed by cats.

And cats don't leave their turds all over the public parks!!!

CATS RULE!!!

Cats can give many pet owners breathing problems.......specially if you're an asthmatic! However, there are plenty of medications now that will keep to control the allergies.........

3 of my cats like water, those are the asian leopard hybrids. They are clever and can learn most of the tricks dogs do. My Mainecoon is also a good boy. They love to run around and chase eachother but they are not loud like dogs and i dont have to walk them 10 times a day. I can not imagine being without them, when i am sad they will come to cuddle and lick my hands.

i have one cat, used to have three. i'd set out to get a Korat or two, ended up with 1.5 korats. (one Korat, one Korat/Siamese mix, and one black fluffy thing that looks like he might be part burmese). the fancy Korat cat was quite pretty, and very athletic. the siamese/korat mix was even prettier, but had a big mouth. i gave the other two away and kept the black fluffy thing because he has by far the most engaging personality of any cat i've ever encountered. don't tell him i said so though. so only one cat, but fat enough for six. i believe there's still a pic of Bart in my album on my profile.

I am not sure I can match with English Bob statement, though I do have four cats (two of them are missing from my profile pics). All of them rigorously of the same breed, the best one as far as I am concern... pure street cats. All of them were "rescued" when babies and abandoned.

The same is for the three dogs also members of my extended family.

The sad part is that, since february I had to move to west africa and I could not bring them along and I do miss them TERRIBLY, although so far, when I go back to Thailand they keep recognizing me. I hope they will keep doing it...
