Here I am again asking for help !!!

My cough is all gone !! but since yesterday, I was sneezing..sneeze..sneeze..sneeze..sneeze..and then runny nose !! I think I have a cold now !!

With runny nose and allergy make it hard to breathe. I walked with my head up  ( not to follow my own motto 'Head Up and MOVE ON' ) didn't get better so I rolled a piece of tissue paper and stuck it in my nose, it looked weird and was too irritating.

So I had to take 2 tablets of chlorpheniramine though I knew that was quite much ! But I had taken one and it didn't work, I would be fine for about 30 mins then my allergy and runny nose would come back again. So I started taking 2, but it feels more like taking down a big bull !! I would feel in a sudden like a spanish bull that got shot !!! and I would need at least 10 hours to sleep.

So you can calculate how many times I had to snooze my alarm every 15 mins from 6 am to 9 am. And I woke up with such a heavy head !!! My problem is, I can't turn the a/c off at night..I can wear warm clothes but I need my a/c or fan on !

My dad would put some smashed red onions on my pillow, just to find that i got better but the onions would be all over my head !

Any cool home remedy ? I would do anything ( again if it sounds good and makes sense..my dad's remedy is a bit messy ) if that would help.

Within this 30 mins, I have sneezed more than 10 times and had used one whole roll of tissue paper already !!!

ahh...i know its too much and well..i dont live with mom and my friend wouldnt wanna read me any bedtime stories anyway..

oh.... you poor thing.... i wish i could help... at least to comfort you till you get better soon.

certainly a poor thing because im so bored of getting sick with a bit of this and a bit of that now

I am the same as you, there is NO WAY I can sleep with no aircon. Hence my 3000+ baht electric bill every month.

Nave, there really isn't anything to help with Allergies. And that is good advice to not take so much of the drug. :-(

You could try one of those air purifier machines. Some people say that helps with allergies.

Slice up several lemons ,into a jug. Pour on hot water. Add honey or sugar to taste. For extra power, take an aspirin with it.

allergies are a *****. I have them in Thailand during the rainy season as well. I buy the cheap Thai brand (sounds like claritin) sold at any local pharmacy for about 60 baht. No side effects either.

I have the cure, Kombucha tea, but if you can't find any, two tablespoons (30ml) of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water or juice every 8 hours. It can kill the cold or flu :-)

Sorry I cant give away any suggestions to you just pls get well soon.. as i also have been suffering from sorethroat.. didnt have (proper) conversation with people since MOnday :-(
