Another piece of proposed legislation that will adversely affect live music

in the UK:

It has been brought to attention that the government wish to consider it a

legal requirement in the new tax year to introduce laws insisting anyone

applying or re-applying for an entertainment license must have a noise

control device fitted to the venue. This will be the final NAIL for ALL

entertainment in the UK as the level at which these devices CUT you off is

dreadfully low and damaging.

PLEASE DO NOT INTRODUCE THIS LAW, WE LOVE LIVE MUSIC!

Just another attempt by NEW <cough> labour to make the UK an even more miserable country to live in !!

Yet another attempt by the Stalinist Government to find a new way of earning more stealth taxes. This happened a few years ago. They introcuced a law which meant that EVERY SINGLE electrical plug in EVERY SINGLE commercial property had to be checked and certified by an electrician. Of course, the Government get taxes from this.

One more step towards the UK becoming a totalitarian state.
